Thank you to everyone who attended National Housing Day. It was nice to see so many happy and familiar faces. Thank you for making it another successful event!
Mark your calendars for this year's National Housing Day celebration! This year's theme is "Building Harmony Through Community"
Date: Sunday November 24th, 2024
Time: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Location: Sir John A. Macdonald Building, 144 Wellington St, Ottawa, ON K1P 5B9
RSVP: Please note that this is a federal government building and you required to RSVP 3 days in advance of the event. Please click the blue button below to fill out your attendance form.
You will be required by security to show your personal identification and to go through a metal detector to enter the event.
Parking: The closest parking is at the World Exchange Plaza located at 45 O'Connor St. Ottawa ON, K1P 1A4. Parking flat rate is $8 and about a 7 - 10 minute walk to the John A. Macdonald Building. Again, give yourself enough time to park and get to the event space before we begin at 3 o’clock.
Public Transit: Many OC Transpo busses and trains service the downtown area. You can plan your trip using OCTranspo's trip planner at this link

What is National Housing Day?
National Housing Day is a day of affordable housing advocacy to raise awareness about housing and homelessness. National Housing Day is held in November across Canada.
