Property management
MHI housing is managed by LSM Services, a property management company whose staff members are people-centred. Lori Simpson and her staff appreciate the importance of tenant support and community building as an essential part of creating safe, affordable home space. Some of the simpler maintenance work such as painting, cleaning, small repairs and gardening is done by MHI volunteers to assist us to maintain the affordability of our housing and to nurture neighbourly relationships. And, where possible, MHI contracts with one of our tenants to be the on-site superintendent.
