tulipathon 2022 fundraiser a smashing success
We'd like to extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who donated, fundraised, made a banner, came out to walk, and/or spread the word about Tulipathon 2022! On Sunday, May 29, we walked in solidarity with MHI faith group members at Dow's Lake, united in our determination to help build a city with affordable housing for all.
We are delighted to announce that we set a new fundraising record, with $121,374 raised! It's extra special that MHI did so in 2022, the year of MHI's 20th anniversary. Our deepest appreciation to everyone who worked hard to make this campaign a possibility. |

Tulipathon 2022 award winners
- This year, the top fundraising team was, once again, the mighty St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, with $6,320 raised.
- As St. John's won the Farook Tareen Award last year (and this award cannot go to the same team two years in a row), the winner will be the team with the second-highest fundraising total: Temple Israel, with an incredible $4,020 raised. Congratulations!
- The winners of the annual Tulipathon Banner Contest are St. Mark the Evangelist Anglican Church and Emmanuel United Church. Congrats to our winners, and thank you to City of Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson for judging the competition again this year.
